(Photo by Chinnawat Singha)PHITSANULOK: A non-commissioned army officer and his wife, a policewoman, were arrested with 50,000 methamphetamine pills in their possession at a checkpoint in Wat Bot district on Saturday, police said. The police also found another 46,000 meth pills in the Mitsubishi car, driven by her husband Chief Warrant Officer Hathai Choonprawat, 46, an army officer. The army officer will be brought to the military court at Phitsanulok on Monday. Pol Maj Gen Panu Buranasiri, commander of the investigation office of the Provincial Police Region 6, has been informed of Pol Senior Sgt Maj Supranee's arrest.
